Leon is an internationally known endurance triathlon coach, who has gained and upgraded his knowledge on seminars such as ITU (International Triathlon Union). Under his training programs, some individuals are competing at the highest level in different sports.
In his life, he has trained many sports. He began with karate, where he learned discipline, focus, and accuracy. He began training triathlon as a young boy and was dedicated to becoming better for 15 years. He raced triathlon competitions at national and international levels. The experience he gained through that time is carrying to his athletes.

At the time, I was recreationally involved in running the Ljubljana Marathon, and at the age of 37, I ran a 10km distance in 42:47 seconds.
In early 2022, a decision was made to fix my time. Based on testing and miles trained in the past, Leon put together a training plan. They included longer, easier runs, intervals, and uphill running. He monitored progress and updated the complexity of training. After a few hundred kilometers and an average of four training sessions per week, I finished 17th time this year at the Istrian Marathon at the age of almost 42 in the recreational 10km run among 474 competitors in the personal best time of 37:49. Leon's training plan for determining and understanding the condition of the body based on the distance traveled, heart rate, cadence, and, above all, his maximum sense of the individual's abilities is top-notch. With his help, goal was achieved and surpassed.
I recommend him as a coach to anyone who wants something more. With his knowledge and his experiences, the path will be shorter and target much closer.

"Since I began to train triathlon 10 years ago I have been working together with Leon. We upgraded our cooperation in the last 4 years when he became head coach for the junior team in our club. I made a great step forward in running, which is not my favorite discipline in years working with him. I am constantly ranking among the top 3 on a national level at triathlon races, most thanks go to Leon for this. In nearby years we have goals to race junior triathlon European cups."

"Highly professional, experienced, motivated, and friendly coach for all three disciplines of triathlon (swim, bike, run). He understands that people over 50 years must train differently as they are not 20 years anymore and for us, that's quite important. We recommend him strongly for elder and young trainees, for beginners and semi-pros!"

I have met Leon in two different roles as a coach. He helped me to achieve my recreational goals as a coach for swimming and running. He is also a coach of a professional athlete whose sports manager I am. Leon is my first choice when I need someone for coaching in swimming, running, or cycling. He understands and adjusts training plans to everyone: from beginners who want to get more fit and healthy to the high professional athletes whose goals are becoming the best of the best.

“Working with Leon dates back to the beginning of my cycling career, when I was still learning about these sports. He became my coach again at a time when I already had a team and we continued to work together successfully even after moving to a new team.
From the beginning, he showed great zeal in preparing the optimal training and showed interest in my progress. When preparing a training plan, it always takes into account other aspects of life and I have successfully progressed constantly.
It also takes into account any well-being problems, inappropriate weather or an unexpected call of the team to a joint training session, it always responds quickly and changes the training accordingly so that the preparation for the matches is still optimal.
He knew how to motivate me when hard trainings are planned and I may already doubt that it is possible to carry out e.g. difficult intervals after several strenuous workouts over the past few days. Performing a hard workout, in which he can motivate me, proved to be a top move, as I learned to suffer in training and this feeling is not foreign to me in cycling races.
To sum up, Leon is a coach who knows how to motivate, adapt, communicate and most importantly, knows how to prepare an athlete to be at the peak of form on important competition days. Professional and correct. ”
